Why We Burn Out

You don’t have to keep running on empty—burned out, overgiving, and stuck in roles that no longer fit.

I know what it’s like to feel pulled in every direction until there’s nothing left for yourself. For years, I worked inside systems that treated people like machines—bodies reduced to parts, women reduced to roles. I burned out. I disconnected. I forgot who I was.

What I discovered is this: we are not machines.

We are gardens.

🌱 Who I Am

I’m Kim Dunakey—a nurse turned transformational guide, a grandmother inspired by a little girl’s wild spark, and a woman who knows what it’s like to give until there’s nothing left.

For  almost two decades, I worked as a Registered Nurse First Assist in operating rooms, seeing firsthand how Western medicine reduced the body to parts to be cut, replaced, and fixed. I saw brilliant people—especially women—run themselves into the ground inside a system that treated their exhaustion as normal. I was one of them.

My body broke down. My spirit went quiet. And yet, somewhere deep inside, my soul whispered: there is more than this.

That whisper led me to study somatics, archetypes, breathwork, energy healing, and nervous system repair. It led me to honor the ancestral wisdom carried in my bones and to reclaim joy, purpose, and presence.

Today, I weave all of it together—my medical background, my lived experience, and the sacred practices I’ve gathered—into work that helps women step out of self-made cages and bloom wild again.

🌸 What I Believe

I believe burnout is not a personal failure—it’s a cultural wound.

I believe we carry the whispers of our ancestors, and it’s time to listen.

I believe our bodies are gardens, not machines—and when we tend them with care, we thrive.

I believe joy is not frivolous—it’s medicine.

🌿 Who I Work With

I work with women—especially those in midlife—who are ready to:

Break free from exhaustion, people-pleasing, and old roles.

Reconnect with their bodies and remember their power.

Live with joy, boundaries, and soul-led purpose.

Through somatic practice, archetypal guidance, and ancestral wisdom, I walk with you as you weed out what no longer serves, compost what’s dying, plant what matters, and bloom into your fullest self.

✨ This is your garden. Let’s tend it together. ✨
